your talking about the stage 4 one right? If your only making 400whp, why didnt u go with the stage 3 or 2? The torque rating for Spec stage 2 are higher than the act SS clutch....

Matty, I think the ACT hd-00 (which uses the stock disc) is a great clutch that can handle anything the stock twins can throw at it. After an upgrade, it's a toss-up.
Good to see you posting btw, havent seen ya online much

Nope, that's the four puck. I believe mine is the stage 3. I'm not making 'only' 400 rwhp, I'm running a single with the potential to make 550+. At 17 psi on pump/water inj I expect to make around 450 .

Thanks for the info. I might as well get the stage 3 because sooner or later im gonna go single. Probably same setup as you with the 500r. Good luck with ur goal of 450. I personaly think you dint even need alc inj to get 450 with the 500r.. but it wont hurt.

ACT has two different pressure plates and several different discs including street, solid centered and spring centered puck type. Mix the right clamp load and friction material to get the torque capacity, driveability and durability you need. From my experience, the springs don't help much to reduce chatter, which is more a matter of how aggressive the friction material is, but the springs do cushion quite a bit on the gear changes and of course quiet down the gear noise.
