Hi Guys....I was just trying to get more people in the GB. All we need is like 3 more people for the scoot hood and it drops $200.00. Also, the feed bumper needs 3 people for it to drop in price a little too. Oh...MrFreeze ...Hows the car comin along? Cya Jorge.

Well actually by looking at his site we already have a total of 9 people in on the bumper, so you would make ten. We have 8 people in for the hood. I am getting the bumper only though. I am kind of a last minute buyer so I'm not sending my money til tommorrow, so my name isn't even listed yet. But I emailed chuck and told him I would send my money out tommorrow and he said that was cool and that I would be in then. so that will make 11...

I am 99% sold on getting the hood... just need to justify spending $500 more than I spent on my current CF hood. Man, I have always wanted the Scoot hood though

 

Neo, I am pretty sure if you go look at the group buy section of the forum and find the thread for this group buy, it should say that the buy for the hood is on regardless of how many people are in on it, because rotaryextreme wants a c/f one too. And then even later in the thread it says that both group buys are definately on regardless of how many more people get in on them. So I am almost 100% sure that even with only 8 in for the hood, that the group buy is still on.. Here's the qoute from the thread...

So getting more people in on this, will give you a lower final price of course, but you should already be getting a hood even with 8 people signed up.

Again my money for the bumper just went out today, so I am not up there yet, so it will be at least 10 for the bumper, and I think there is someone else who said they ordered both a bumper and hood but just sent their payment out the other day, so they weren't up there yet either. It would be good if we could get 11+ for each..

I'm slightly interested in the CF Scoot Hood. But the personality of the hood doesnt seem to match a stock (looking) car, as it seems to be far too aggressive. All I've really got are some 18's, and the R1 package; do you guys think the Scoot would match it well?

 

Hell yeah nameless I think the scoot hood looks good on just about any FD, what is really going to help your car look right with the hood is those 18's. If you are contimplating it and if you have a pic of your car, why not post something in here or in the lounge and get everyones opinion..

Nameless, are those volk wheels?? They look pretty sweet. I think the hood would look good on there, it does look better with aftermarket fronts I think, but I also think it looks good with a stock front. But you are the one who is going to have to be happy with the car, to take it one step further, you could try to get someone in the lounge to photoshop a scoot hood on there for ya..

 

Yea those are LE37s. I have to think about it, I jsut wish someone had a pic of it, cause I cant imagine it, since every pic I've seen comes with a modified front, and/or integrated headlights. I was only looking to go 99spec on the front bumper, so it might not match it very well, I'll decide soon. Thanks for the help
