The rate on my FD did not drop with the addition of an extra car. But I drove it less than 7,500 mi/yr even when it was my primary car. I live about 4 mi from work.
I already had multi-car with my wife having a car.

Here's how mine is rated:
No male or unmarried female drivers under 25 assigned to the car.

Pleasure or not more than 30 miles weekly to and from work and school. Driven 7,500 mi or less annually.

Coverages:
Liability 100k/300k
Comprehensive
$100 ded collision
Emergency Road service
Unisured motor vehicle
Property Protection

Premium Reductions (per 6 mo):
Multi-line: $40
Multi-car: 84
Defensive Driving: 29
Air bag: 7
Accident Free: 74
