If you follow that thread plus some others that have used this method, not everyone follows the same method. We studied the inside of an REW front cover and decided nothing needed mods there.

If anyone is interested I have the 2 stroke injector/adapter for the OMP that rotary aviation sells with a nice tank for the 2 stroke. 100 shipped

I'll toss in some like new OMP SS lines for 50 or 60 shipped seperately.

Rotary Aviation Adapter Clearance Issues

I contacted Laura at Rotary Aviation and asked about the Metering Oil Pump Adapter clearance issues. Here is a synopsis of her response:

"I contacted my engineer with the question and this was his response. He has never seen the problem first hand nor have we been provided any photos of the issue, so it is hard for him to fix the problem. If somebody can email photos to me, we will be glad to work with the engineer on the issue.

Yes, I have heard of that before. Some people encountered a small interference with an oil line for the turbo. I never could really determine if it was a custom turbo installation or stock. The individual having the problem did a little rerouting of the oil line if I recall correct. I never saw any pictures of the situation to fully understand it."

I replied with the comments pomanferrari and Joe Cool posted on this thread, and attached the 2 pictures pomferrari posted. I believe more input is necessary, if they are to modify their product for us. If any of you have better details, measurements, or pictures, can you please get in touch with Laura:

...just to clarify: the dosage for normal driving is 1/2 oz per gallon and 1oz per Gallon for heavy driving/dyno. Right?

Any specific oil you would prefer?

I had used Motul 710 2T for approx. 2000km now without problems...

There is that saying Redline a day keeps carbon away . So I think there are ways to help the situation Like redlining the car often daily , and steam cleaning the motor as well since it was auto it was probably not reved to the sky like some of the manual motors were and maybe that accelerated the carbon build up

Now I took mine Off .

and I'd been kind of doubting and regretting my decision . Based on a couple of factors .

Off throttle when the engine doesnt have fuel going in . is that damaging to the motor to engine brake ?

Another thing .. I seem to of been adding tomuch premix , I was adding 1 oz per gallon , and 1.5 oz per gallon for hard driving.

My PFC has the option to turn on fuel ejection off throttle But when i did that I just had flames comming out of the car for hours , I tried to lean the off throttle cells but best I could get was like 11 afrs which still seems a bit rich . I'm afraid my car is gonna catch fire LMAO!

So for those of you with eliminated OMP how have you bypassed these issues with off throttle , or will it not damage the motor not having oil to lubricate the seals when engine braking

Like some have said before like going down a mountain
