I'm definitely interested. I've had my stock upper rad hose leak on me before. Not fun.

herblenny: The Samco hoses retail for roughly $110 - $125. I haven't seen prices go much lower than that. I would be careful buying the Samco hoses from someone on Ebay (who says they can sell it for $79). Especially, since cost for a dealer that carries Samco, can't really be that low.

$110 - 25% = $82.50.

So, your "Ebay buddy" is telling you that he can sell it to you for more than 25% off the typical retail price that I've seen? I doubt it.

(Don't take my comments in the wrong way, I just don't want to see you get burned. It is possible that the seller can offer the hoses at $79, but I highly doubt it).

I gotta agree. It seems like EVERYTHNG on E-bay is knock off ****. Unless the guy is willing to prove to you that it is original I would pass in a heartbeat.

BTW, these are the best hose clamps I've EVER used. They are light years beyond any metal clamp. all you need is an electric heat gun to install them:

You shouldn't need a heat gun for those hose clamps. The heat in the engine bay of the FD should shrink those babies in not time LOL.

Those are pretty bad-***, there Ronny K .

How much are they--I couldn't find the price on their site. Also, I'm assuming that they're not reusable, right?

I don't remember but they were not expensive - comparable to high grade ss clamps.

You'll need to find a jobber nearby that orders from Gates. I think you can locate one on their site?
I guarantee you they don't even know they exist. What I really like is that they clamp without cutting the hose at all. Remarkable.

Yep, they are one time use only, but if you do need to take em' off you don't need to replace the hose if it's still in good shape, or worry about tryin to re-align the
"gear hole" marks.

http://www.forgemotorsport.com/samco...log=SAMCOMAZDA

For the coolant hoses (FD application), they show a price of $125.41.

For the coolant hoses (FC application), they show a price of $90.67.

I have no idea where the $72 price quote came from.

Forge Motorsport is one of the US distributors for Samco though. Hmmm......has anyone ordered parts from them?

herblenny: Is your "Ebay buddy" the same person at Forge Motorsport?

I ordered these about 3 weeks ago and got them 2 weeks ago, From everything i see they are the real thing. I've been running them for a period of time now and they are working out great and look alot better then the OEM dull rubber. I paid the buy it now prce plus shipping, i was more worried about getting them soon that getting a good price.
