Samco rad hoses on Greddy rad?
Samco rad hoses on Greddy rad?
Do aftermarket rads have different mounting locations for the rad hoses or all they generally close enough that oem/aftermarket rad hoses work? Looking to get samco's or something, if anyone has a good suggestion with a decent reason as to why
I had stock hoses on my Koyo, worked like a charm till the hose finally gave out. The silicon hoses I got to replace the stock with fit w/o an issue.
I'm sure it would be a different story if the radiator you are using is set up completely different though.

aftermarket rads such as the Koyo, Fluidyne, Mazda competition etc, all utilize the factory coolant hoses assuming you mounted the radiator in the factory location.
if those hoses haven't been changed in 10 years or more, you may want to consider changing as many as you can reach to decrease the risk of having one go at an inconvenient location.
The factory hoses and hose clamps are actually really good quality. I wouldn't bother with Samco or other silicon hoses for coolant.
