Yep, there's a good reason - it's not a good idea on the FD. There are some cars they work great on, and some they don't do much of anything on - the FD is one of those.
Since the FD uses its map sensor for the primary fuel input and also to determine fuel cut, that's the problem with most piggybacks. If you try and richen it up, the ECU thinks you're running more boost and you get into fuel cut.
The ONLY time I could see it being worthwhile is to fine-tune a chipped ECU that already has fuel cut removed. But, PowerFC's are SO damn cheap and SO damn good that you could have bought a PFC for the price of a chipped ECU and SuperAFC.
Sell the SuperAFC if you bought it and spend the money on something else for the car.
