Sad news, we lost a hardcore rotorhead and amazing person.....
My condolences, and sympathies to the family and friends. I have lost many a close family and friends..........remember to honor them and "DREAM AS IF U WERE GOING TO LIVE FOREVER, LIVE AS IF U WERE GOING TO DIE TODAY!!!"
Rich and Gordon and all of you guys who were close to Chris, my thoughts are with you and his family. I know how hard it is to loose a friend at such a young age and how devastating it can fell. I am thinking about you all.
I didn't know Chris. I hadn't been in the forum for quite awhile but now I realize he was a major guy in here, liked by many. I went through his project thread and familiarized myself with what he had been up to. Very sad. I'm 33 and it just makes me think--can't believe I've already had 3 more years in this world than what Chris had. Not fair by any stretch of the imagination. My condolences to everybody involved.
Anyone can be gone anytime, anyday. Please remember that we are not invincible. Don't take loved ones and your time on earth for granted. It can be gone in a blink of an eye.
I didnt know him personally like some of you but it still hurts to see someone from the RX-7 family pass away. I also lost a good friend from the RX-7 community who was well liked and I can relate to you guys who were close to Chris. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

Guys, just to clear up any confusion:
Chris passed away due to apparent complications from his diabetes (he was a type 1 diagnosed at age 7), along with a chance accident that led to his falling in his bathroom in such a way that he asphyxiated while in a coma.
He passed away at a very young age, with so many great things to come in his life, not the least of which was roadracing his 20B, something he really looked forward to. He also wanted to marry his longtime sweetheart Marisa, and was on his way to becoming a force in the financial world. This was a horrible accident, and tremendous tragedy. I know I won't recover from it anytime soon.
I hope this serves to answer some questions....mike, john, ihor, gordon, feel free to add anything.

Sorry to hear about this. I'm in the diabetes business and know full well all the complications attendant not only to type 1 (your body loses its ability to make insulin) and type 2 (your body becomes insensitive to insulin made in your pancreas islet cells).
