Sad Day: Crash pictures
Well I hit a patch of gravel and spun out right after an S curve last night.
here are Before and After pics.
BEFORE:

AFTER:

Towed it to the body shop last night. I don't think there's any frame damage. Maybe some left rear suspension issue cuz it looked miss aligned. but anyway this is a very sad day for me. I hope to have her rebuilt within the next year.
Any suggestions on the rebuild will be greatly appreciated.
I was thinking 99spec wing, the small feed skirt lines, and a RE-Amemiya street diffuser.

Take pictures of everything both before and after. Not that you plan on it, but if you do choose to sell it someday you will have solid documentation of exactly what was damaged and repaired. Good luck, better the car got damaged than you.

Not to be a debbie downer, but given the kinks on the right quarter panel, I'd say there is cerrtainly "frame" damage. Anytime you kinks or bulges opposite of a damaged corner, or on a panel that wasn't directly hit, its a good indication that the car has flexed substaintially.
Glad everyone's OK. But that thing may just be bound for the great scrap yard in the sky.

This is why you don't drive at unreasonable speeds on back roads. I find it hard to believe that hitting a patch of gravel at around the speed limit would cause anything like this. That being said...
I dont know. I had a friend wreck his Tib into a tree at the speed limit going around an S curve when he normally takes it a retarted speeds. He said "figures, the one time I obey the law the car gets pissed at me" lol.
What, NO! The only other Cleveland Racing FD is wrecked! I was hearing all this stuff about your car and was hoping to see it at QSL sometime. If you need any help with your car feel free to drop me a PM.

It won't be wreaked for long! I just came back from the body shop and the bank. I can't wait to start the build. Acid dip anyone?

God I love bouncing back. Thanks for the offer. I will let you know if I need any help!
Just gives me a reason to take it all apart and paint the whole car perfectly with engine bay and jams and such.
Stick around. I will be posting builds in either this thread or a new one.

Stock turbos. Just bolt on's. The car isn't even fast. But I guess gravel and Falken 615's don't match?

To fix. It'll be 6ish. But to get it done to the way I want it... well I just came back from the bank with a 10k loan. So yep.
Not something I'd be bragging about... hahaEDIT: Also makes me curious as to why insurance isn't taking care of it? Being a RHD car, I assume you don't want the insurance company taking a closer look? No offense, but the way the rear end is tweaked, that car looks totaled. Scrap it for parts, and take that $10,000 and buy a legal LHD FD.

^ Quit hating. I have a great credit line. Had a credit card since 14. The car is legally titled and I have had not a single problem with regestering or insurance on the rhd fd. It IS possible to bring these cars over. Its not a skyline. As long as the car was made for the US market at one point then its fine.
Oh and the car isn't totaled and I don't know why you're hating so hard. You especially having two CYM's. Don't you rather want this car fixed and restored than junked??
Fyi. Loan won't be a problem for me. If 10 grand was hard to come by then I wouldn't own an FD. I just don't want to be paying high *** premiums so I rather just get the loan and pay it off in a year with tiny interest.
