Question S6 & S7 looms, are they the same?

Hi
I'm looking at dropping a rebuilt S7 block into my S6 FD ( note:block only) . I have since found out that the seller alos has a PFC ( for a S7 ) for sale as well so I'm thinking of getting that too.

I'm just wondering wether the S7 PFC into ---> a S6 loom into ---->a series 7 block will work?

I know the S7 stock ECU is different to a S6 ( 8 vs 16bit I think) so I am unsure if maybe the S7 loom differs from S6 as well

S6 and S7 PFC are not interchangeable, harness connectors are completely different

I've been through the conversion and I had to replace every single wiring harness from the front half of the car, i.e dash, front, etc

Reason is the engine harness from the S7 block will not plug into the S6 ECU. S7 plugs are alot more fat and thicker compared to the thinner S6 ones.
