So I'm testing things out... and I understood that this harness had no connection for the coolant level sensor, but when I turn the car to power, the alarm goes off after about 10-15 seconds.

I was fine living without the capability of the sensor, but I'm not fine with the alarm going off. What do I need to do to shut it up?

You ground the wire that goes to the block/level sensor, which should disable the add coolant light and the alarm. Its a single black plug, which i used a female spade connector.

There should of been a single wire with spade connectors on each end. This ties into the low level sensor and into the brown with a white stripe wire in your alternator harness. The H20 connector on the RyWire harness is for coolant temp I believe, which is located right below the oil filter pedestal.

If you don't have the jumper wire just make one and tie it into the wire on the alternator harness, I am sure you have a spade connector with black/brown wire that is open.

When I emailed RyWire about this issue here is the response I got; "Oem there is a wire in the engine harness that jumps from one plug to another so we basically provided the jumper wire and kept it out of the engine harness since it doesn't really need to be in there."

OK... yes, I've called Rywire twice on that jumper wire, and can't get an adequate explanation as to exactly where to where it jumps. They said "on the body harness", which is meaningless.

So this goes from the coolant low-level sensor (on the filler neck, as pictured?)... to where exactly?

Locate the connector for your coil pack, there should be a single female spade connector that is Brown with a white stripe. Mine has a little bit of that plastic loom protector around it.

If you locate the fuse block near your left hand strut tower there should be a harness that is roughly 2" in diameter. Follow that towards the cab and you should eventually find it. If I had to estimate I would say my connection was roughly a foot from the strut tower.

OK... I found a brown/white wire with a black spade connector on it... part of the charging/body harness. Connected it to the level sensor, and it still beeps, but there's no water in the car. Is the sensor somehow active this way?

There needs to be water/coolant in the car, as Silent blu said it grounds the circuit. You could disconnect the jumper wire from the sensor and ground it to confirm that the circuit it working. If you found the brown/white wire and connector on the body/charging harness you should be set.

I would recommend putting some loom over the single jumper harness to protect it from rubbing through anywhere.

If you don't have coolant then your sensor will sense a low level condition as designed and you will have a locked in alarm.
