Not to hijack his thread, but I noticed the August 1993 build had something called black gauge bezels. My 1994 PEG has silver guage bezels. In fact, now that I think about it, I've never seen photos of a U.S. RX-7 interior, even a 1995, that had anything other than silver gauge bezels. What gives? Anyone seen black gauge bezels on a US FD?

 

that chart refers only to japanese fd's. i believe all usdm fd's came w/ chrome rings around the gauges

 

mines a 92 Type R and it has Chrome rings around the gauges, I'm in NZ
