RX7 owners advice requested (plz read)

Hi guys I am new on here.

I seek your advice.
I am currently thinking about buying an RX7 (2.6TT).
The thing is I am well aware of the rebuild probs, but what sort of milage does this need doing. I am gonna be pretty strapped for cash for about 10 months, but then money will not be a prob. Would I be taking a gamble to buy one of these cars, are they any less reliable than my alternatives such as mitsi GTO TT and supra TT.

What are their performance figures like, compared with the mitsi GTO TT and the supra TT??

Are they moddable cars, or are they likley to break and what boost can they run???

Thanks, any advice very much appreciated,

Graham

If you going to be strapped for cash i dont think an RX-7 is for you and the answers to everything else can be found in the newbie sticky up top or by searching.

if your gonna be strapped for cash, just dont mod it untill you do get money. these cars can be modded but like anythign else in life, you gotta pay to play! weather it be relibility mods, rebuilt engines or engine mods to support more boost, its gonna cost you quite a bit.

goodluck

P.S. Id suggest a fd to anyone, what other car can do 150-170mph stock and cost about 10-15k??? for god sakes, its cheaper then a friggen civic now adays!

the 3000gt has 4 wheel steering and awd but it weighs as much as a tank...plus it's just flat out ugly...i know a guy who ran a 13.9 in his 3000GTT
