hey guys it is my first time posting here, and i have a few questions about the 3rd generation RX7's. i found a used 1993 RX7 with 90k miles on it. my question is, is it true that the engines on these have to be rebuilt after like 100,000 miles? because it would suck if i bought the car and then had to have the engine replaced after 6 months. it said it was owned by a woman by i dont know if thats the truth, the car is stock. thanks for any info.

 

in the case of an FD (no offense to women) it is probably a bad thing that it was owned by a woman. When I think of a car being owned by a woman, I think of how my mom takes care of her car. She never changes the oil, she shifts into drive while still going in reverse because she is too lazy for the thing to completely stop, she never washes it, never checks the oil or has anyone else do it, which can be lethal for an fd engine. be wary. The engine might have needed a rebuild for 30k miles...
