Rx7 Car-shop Specialists????

I would like to know which are the most "famous" car shops for RX7'S and specialy FD's around the USA in different states? I would like to know shops where i can check the compression of an RX7, the chassis and have tradition in those cars. Any comments also about those shops are welcomed.

I hope that this is the right place for this post.

Do a search in this forum and it will yield tons of info. on this subject. Really depends on where you are going to be located. I would say Gotham Racing, Rx7 store or Pettit racing are the big three....

Run that search in the various regional forums.

For Maryland id recommend PFSupercars. Ray, the owner, does some great work and is well trusted. He's one of the top three rotary guys on the east coast

Rotary Performance

Without a doubt one of the best shops. They have extensive experience and actually race their cars. Chris Ott in a quality individual!

Try these:
Mazdatrix http://www.mazdatrix.com
Rotary Power http://www.rotarypowerusa.com

Both knowledgable and well respected in CA.

xaxaxa!!! geia sou my friend ola kala! esi? lol
well i'm looking for shops in the states, because i'm looking to see if i can afford to buy an rx7 FD from the states and import it to the UK and then back to the Greece, because rx7 FD here are too expensive for me. I know it sounds very complicated Anyway my thought for this post is to get know all the available rx7 stores around the states, so if i find an opportunity through this forum or through ebay, to know where i can check the car and then buy it. Evenmore most of those rx7 stores like gotham and rx7 store , have on their sites, good cars available for sale, and i belive in my case is more secure to find and buy a car through a store that knows it's work.

Well thank you all for the intrest and giving me the web adresses.
So we have :

1) Petit Racing - Florida
2) MazdaTrix - California
3) Rotary Power Usa - California
4) Rotary Extreme - California
5) Rx7 Shop - Texas
6) Gotham Racing - Texas

Right? Any other shops in different states?
Does local mazda dealers can check if an rx7 is reliable?

You got Rotorsports in North Carolina, AIM tuning in Indiana and many many more. The RX7 hasn't been sold new in the US for ten years so your probably better off with a specialty shop that with a dealer. I live in Texas so Gotham and Rotary Performance (RX-7.com) are the only ones I ever dealt with. I highly recommend either one.

You can also add tri-point engineering to the list. They are also in Southern California. Good luck w/your search.

im good... what part of greece are you from? my family is from grevena. anyways mazda dealerships generaly dont know anything about rx7s, so it would be better to take it to a specialty shop to make sure that the car is in good running order. well i hope you find an rx7 and everything works out for you!

i live in athens. from grevena? how come? are you from there? I travel to grevana and near very often because my girl studies there so...
The situation is almost the same with the Rx7's. There are only 2-3 shops specialized on those cars and mazda dealers don't know anything about them.

Over the last couple of years, I've seen a few "certified" RX-7s for sale at this specialty performance shop. They have lots of experience doing exactly what you're looking to have done. Ive seen cars advertised for sale at some of the other shops mentioned already. I distictly remember several from Peter Farrel Supercars. I think Pettit, too. Click link, scroll to bottom of page "Cars for Sale" http://rx7.com/

Yeah i'm looking for a certified car because i have calculated that a to buy car with blown engine it will cost me much more money than to buy a certified. I have checked this one in rx7.com but it a little bit overpriced for what it has.

yeah i know this with the military happens some times sif you are not a usa citizen. i have promised a ride and i will if i buy one, since it is so difficult to find and import a good and cheap one. yeah it's very rare in europe. in greece it has sold only 119 units. some of the are for scrap and most of them have once in the past crached seriously...
