ok i have a question that i should know. I tried to search for it and couldnt find it. i know that both turbos come on, one at 3500 one at 4500 in 3rd gear with a pattern of 10-8-10-8. but i was wondering, how is it in the other gears? is first gear only the first turbo at 3500, then 2nd gear as the 1st turbo and a little of the second one, then 4th is a little of the first turbo and mainly the 2nd and 5th is only the second? im probably wrong but ide like to find out. damn, i should know this!!!

i think technicaly they are supposed to boost to the 10-8-10 pattern in all gears. Third is a good test because WOT in first and second is too fast to see!! and in fourth you don't have the room to do it all the way to redline.

 

Off topic: R1's and R2's only came with vinyl suede (aka synthetic suede) seats.

 

Well im testing out my theory that our car has a fuel problem.

i know 3 R1's and both came stock with black cloth seats. the "leather" option was on touring and on stock but i believe the R1's where only cloth. I also know a guy who had a bought the seats out of a wreaked R1 because he liked the black cloth better than the tan seats in his touring.

 

But i guess you could also call them sued now that i think about it.
