rx7 antenna replacement question

i was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the orginal antenna... w/o having to rip off the whole fender, or do i just have to remove the taillight fixture to get to it?? anyone know... and also, if anyone knows a good looking antenna to replace it with that would be cool also... i herd the s2000 antenna doesnt look that bad, but id rather hear it from someone with a rx7, or if theres any better ones i should consider....

just take of the stock jack and tools and with a 10mm wrench just unbolt the nut and unplug the clip that gives power to it and the antenna plug, then just massage it out of the small hole there will be a long drain looking hose on the bottom of it that will kinda make it hard to take out but it will come out of the small hole.
