Check your pricing. The RX-8 is running 27-33k fully equiped. So I would think a price of 35k would be justified. Anyway how many people do you think are walking out with an evo 8 or STi without a major dealer markup. NONE, recently on the RX-8 forums someone found a dealer asking for a 20k mark up on an evo8. They are just to limited in production numbers not to be marked up.

RX7 4th gen..
I'm not a financial analyst or expert in international business.. What I see is that RX7 did horribly (especially 94-95).. RX 7 was the first of its class to be discontinue from US market (Compare to 300Z and Supra). And also the shortest time on the market. But also z and supras didn't do well either.. all suffered during 90's due to what most said, "THE SUV" era. All the idiots wanted SUV's.. because general population thought its safer and had this idea that driving 8FT tall 4x4 vehicles in metropolitan area was essential in everyday life..
I don't know how all this came about.. But I say it happened for the best for us.. Its like any trend... Less we see, more we want.. More we see, less we want. I'm glad I don't see 20-30 Rx7's when I drive to work everyday, like I see 20-30 accords and civics.. And now those damn H2's, I see at least 2 different ones everyday! What a waste of money.. when are they going to climb 45% inclines in downtown metro area.. NEVER!!
Anyhow, if we get 4th gen RX7, I think it will still make ours unique.. Last I heard is that there is about 3000-4000 left in this country.. That's pretty low.. And makes it very unique.. If I see 3rd gen on the road, I know who's driving it. That kind of closeness doesn't come that very often.. I'm so glad I bought a 3rd gen (year and a half ago, instead of Supra or NSX).. Just because of the group that I got to belong to.. Its like buying a Top end luxury car.. You buy those for not just a car, but the service you will receive from the dealer.. Sometimes, thats very important.. Like the RX7 community we belong to. The help I got from fellow Rx7 owners have been amazing!
