Yeah, you need another pump quick. You are maxing out those injectors.

The easiest would be the denso supra pump. It is a direct drop in. Nothing you can't handle with an hours worth of labor.

You will need new tuning once you get the bigger secondaries. Where you are going to get that down there, I don't know

It's kinda sad to see the 3rd gen's being used as drag cars..

All anyone ever cares about is how fast it can go in a straight line..

The only person I see on the board using the 3rd gen for what it was intended for is Daiman!!!

Everybody should check his site out and watch the vids! At least you'll learn something about 3rd gens...

This way you don't have to worry about "racing" a 996 Turbo... (jumped up Beetle's!!)

Later,
And what do you think we compete with out at the track??

Just a couple of weeks ago I had a great dice with a MOTEC-equipped 930 Turbo ....

Many of us do trackdays.

But its still fun to beat 10x more expensive cars - what FD was made for

It's a common problem. One of the reasons I'm with M2 ECU. I may try to tune it myself in the future. I'm now getting the picture how it is done

It is always interesting seeing the expressions when they do loose an acceleration race. But, those cars are very nice from the factory.

BTW, I believe my car would win an acceleration race with 8 PSI.

I wish I could find a 996 Turbo to race. Raced one about 3 years ago with my last 3rd gen. I only had intake, catback and DP. It was not a pretty site.
