Rx-7 fd3s starting problem help !!!
Thank you guys all for opening up my thread.
I have recently tried to start up my JDM FD3S, after parking it for couple of weeks.
It started fine with the booster cables, however, after not leaving it for awhile, it engine seems like it struggles for a bit and just shuts right off, didn't sound any good, tried to re-start it back on with the brand new battery installed, it cranks over consistently, doesn't seem like any of my ignitions have major issues, but doesn't start up at all. Before i parked the car, the FD used to have problem with dying one out of every 20-30times, which was a extreme rare case.
what types of problems would you guys think it'd be without be able to get it started at the moment?
could it be my injectors with flooded engine? if so, how could i be able to deflood it? in the worst case, would this possibly be my motor been seized and needs rebuild? I'm currently asking for all possible problems for the car, since i don't have time at all to spend any time on this, and just want you professional guys' opinions on it for now, and see what i can do.
Thanks out there, and appreciate for your time.

Im dealing with the same issue right now, i didnt start my car the whole winter...lol. Id say that we flooded it trying to crank it over even more.
search for: "deflooding" and that should get you started.
I start with checking all hoses over, change spark plugs...if your motor was running before you put it away, i dont think motors blow by just sitting there. Probably loss of compression since the seals recessed back into their grooves..try the deflooding procedure first.
goodluck

I have the same staring problem as well. I've changed the spark plugs, and spark plug cables, got a new battery and deflooded the engine but nothing yet.
What's this of losing compression by seals recessing? Is there any way to undo something like that?
