I'm not sure if the keyway suppose to stick out? and if it does how much does it stick out? what's the proper mm? I have another question about the the crank shaft having a loose spring pin sitting in the middle. Is it suppose to be there? And how does it look like? I was trying see if you have any photos of that reassembly. I hope you could help me. Thanks

Hi Alex,

I gotta confess, I don't know the specs for that...the only thing I remember doing is making sure to grease the keyway. I didn't have to deal with replacing the clutch this time around. It was a simple mate for me when I put the engine back together. Also, are you talking about the wire ring from the release collar? I don't remember any pin springs in that part of the assembly...there are some springs farther back on the eccentric shaft from what I remember. Sorry, I can't be of more help!

AWS is basically for emissions and is only on the US spec models. Most people remove it because all it does is warmup the car on a cold start so that catalytic converter gets up to operating temperature faster. It's annoying as hell so most people just go and remove it, like I said. It's one more thing to screw with your idle.

wstrohm, ganking is just american slang for taking/stealing lol...I just meant please don't go claiming the photos as your own or something for your own site, bla bla.

Oh, and thanks everyone for the comments! I got a little lazy with the photo taking at the end...so sorry if the detail starts to go off there. I think the hardest part was putting the engine together...getting it in the car wasn't as big of a deal IMHO. Thanks!
