RX-7 efini

Hi everyone, I've just bought a 1993 RX-7 efini at auction, cosmetically it looks in showroom condition but are there any common problems that I should look out for, and could anyone tell me the main difference between an efini and other RX-7 specs.

Sorry if I sound a bit clueless but this is the first rotary driven car that I've bought.

Cheers

Thanks for that Brad. So is the efini a reasonable spec then as I can't seem to find that much information relating to it

In Japan, 3rd Generations RX-7 (FD3S) were sold under the Efini brand, up until i THINK the 1998 year, when they were sold under the Mazda brand until 2002 when they stopped running.

As far as i know thats the case with the Efini, although im not entirely sure what they were sold under in the UK.

in the US they were sold under the Mazda brand for their limited life from 1993 to 1995.

Ah, I see, a bit like the Japanese brand name for the Mazda MX5 was the Eunos Roadster, now I understand , cheers Hitokiri
