Exclamation Running Rich, strange sounds after shutting off.

The car is running very rich, backfiring more than normal. I've replaced the O2 sensor and FPD (it was bad) and reset th computer. Resetting the computer cured a LITTLE of the backfiring. I can smell the unburnt fuel in the exhaust, when it's cold, it'll cut out and bog down until it warms up. Now, the second part... When I shut off the car, it sounds like the injectors are still pushing fuel into the rotors. I've checked all my coolant lines and no leaks, doesn't even smell like coolant. The gas smell is semi-strong. Is there a problem with the fuel pump relay? bad injectors? fuel pump itself?

I suspect the injectors are leaking (bad injector o ring).

It maybe a long shot but has your Fuel Pulsation Damper been changed? It is prone to failure.

The injector O-rings could be causing that? I just took it out to get some lunch and it died while idling. Normally it'd start back up after I pulled the Fuel Pump relay. Then I'd plug in the relay again and go. Now, it's really flooded, first time it's done this. I've about had it...
