Rumbling at wheel lock?

When i turn my wheel all the way on either side, i start to hear a strange rumbling sound...........it appears to be coming from the wheels

now normally i would think the wheels are rubbing against the chassis or something but i couldn't see any of that happening...

has this happened to anyone else? do you guys know what else might be causing that?

thanks

If it does it when you aren't moving, and you still have power steering, it is probably you overworking the power steering pump. You never want to turn the wheel as hard as you can in one direction. Just stay a tick away from full lock.
