Exclamation Ruff Idle Help!

I just tuned up my car by putting in new spark plugs and spark plug wires, I had to of course remove the throttle body out to put in one of the spark plug wires. While I was at it taking the throttle body out the gasket of course broke, so I used gasket sealer and closed it back up again. When I started my engine instead of having a smooth start up the engine was running rough, it wasn't a steady sound the RPM was above 1000 then when I tapped on the gas a little it dropped to about 750 RPM and sounded like it almost was about to shut off. I then cut the engine off feeling nervous. Got any clue what's up with this? Is it cuz the gasket sealer isn't strong enough so there is a vacuum leak? Or you think its something else? For you people out there who changed your spark plugs out there help!

First Relax. The car started.
Anytime you have a vac/boost leak between the post throttle body and the combustion chamber you will get idle surge. Before the throttle body you won't in my experiences. It's probably just the fact that you put the gasket sealant under vac before it dried, and you have a leak. Just check that really well, and you might have to take it apart and reseal it. Also make sure all the hoses on the manifold between the post throttle body and the combustion chamber are not cracked. Good luck.
