i juss got me 1993 rx7 n i dunno a lot about rotary engine.......car runs great n i love it. i think rx7s r best car in the world.

when i start my engine it revs up to 3000 rpm(when engine is cold) n it drops bek after few sec.
is it normal thing???? hahaha i gotta study rotary engine....

 

Yeah, that is normal. If you don't like it you can put it into gear. This will only stop it if you leave it in gear. I just tap the accelerator. This cancels the function.

start the car with the transmission in a gear and it wont rev that high.

 

It's normal and very harmful to your engine, just tap the gas really quick right after you start it or start it in gear. Problem solved.
