1996

Just wanted to clear that up with everyone. I think a lot of people believe that it is only on the 1999+ models.

Funny, that it only started getting popular after the "NEW RX-7" 1999 model came out.

I see the same thing happen but more often with the wheels. Everyone talks about 99+ wheels when referencing the stock 5-spoke, 17inch wheels. Just like the circle taillights, the wheels were introduced in 1996 and haven't changed since.

How many of you who knew the correct answer to the taillights, also knew the correct answer to the wheels and that they were standard on only the RS model?
