I've tried searching the forum for anyone with a similar prob and came up empty. Here's the deal... my FD began to have a rough idle when starting. i installed new NGK sparkplugs and magnacore wires and it seemed to disappear after the first run. gradually it began to have the same problem and now I notice that it usually starts fine when the motor is cold but returns to rough idle at start after engine is warm. Also I noticed that it runs good after idle smooths out but engine seems to miss in diff spots of the rpm range once it's warm.

I can drive it without probs if I don't accelerate fast. I'm guessing that I might need new coil packs or something else dealing with the ignition system. i'm out of ideas and about ready to take it to a mechanic.

Any ideas before I fork over cash to an expert?

 

Any thoughts on my probs? I spoke with a friend/mechanic and he seems to think it's my EGR valve getting stuck.
