rough idle when cold.

My '94 has a rough idle when its cold. Even after it reaches operating temps, it sometimes continues but clears out after about 10-15 min. Anybody know whats up with that? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

First step is to search and read stickys.

This is normal til the car is up to opperating temp.

Please use the search feature next time. It will help from cluttering the forum. thanks

I don't think a rough idle is normal. My FD idles smoothly whether cold or warm. There are a bunch of reasons for rough idle after start-up, some of them are minor, some of them are major problems.

Do you have any other symptoms? Gasoline smell, losing coolant mysteriously, etc.?

Have you done normal maintenance? Changed spark plugs, wires, etc. recently?

If not start with the simple things, and read the stickies.

I have asked a lot of rotary guys this guestion and they have al said the FD has that problem when it is really cold out and you first start it up, but it will start to idle smooth as soon as it warms up or finishes its "accelerated heating" thingy.(if you still have that connected).
