Rough idle, rough transition????

Car was running fine until I really opened her up, then at stoplight I noticed she was barely wanting to idle, more backfiring than usual, in general just running like ****. She cruises fine though at speed. Any ideas??? I did a quick check under the hood, map sensor is hooked up , no apparent hose pop-offs, I'm at a loss. Any help is appreciated. Mark

80% of hoses burried under UIM, so difficult to really tell one is not off. Do you have a vacuum/boost gauge? What is the vacuum at your now rough idle?

autometer gauge say 12-13, purple box hand held monitor reads 15-16. Checked plugs today, they looked okay, but went ahead and cleaned them.....no change. No champagne bubbles of death, either. PCV, and various other check valves seem ok, as does relief valves that go to airbox. ????????? I can't figure it out.
