Rough Idle

So running into some issues, car is a 95 fd and it has A'pexi air filters, Fluidyne rad and a newly installed hi flow cat.
so prior to installing the cat it started having some idle issues, rough idle, searching for idle and sometimes dying. It starts inconsistently aswell, sometimes starts normal and sometimes takes 15-20 seconds.
Cat was changed due to old one being clogged. after it was changed the idle wasn't fixed and it began to cut at about 3500 rpm, almost feels like the speed limiter.
Compression was checked and it came back excellent and the coolant temp sensor was changed.

Just looking for some other opinions of what could cause it.
Thanks

Rough idle

Owner here, we've been trying to figure this out for a few days now, idle sounds a lot like a street port. Driving it sputters and hesitates around 2000rpm and will completely cut at 3200, under light throttle it'll rev higher but if you put any more throttle into it it'll cut hard.

We've tried test units from rx7 specialties in Calgary

-TPS
-Ignition chip
-Plug wires
-Apexi PFC

Adam took it for a test drive with the PFC and said it ran perfectly

That sounds like how mine used to 'run' on the stock ECU. The PFC dealt with the gremlins I had.

did a factory reset on the ecu and fixed almost all of the issues, going to put an apexi pfc in after I get paid
