Rotary Extreme (apexi style) sideskirts

Hello everybody.

I recently purchased some apexi style RE sideskirts. I spoke to a body shop about installing them, and they said my options were: a)rivet them in, b)screw them in, or c) drill holes in the side of the car and install clips to hold the skirts up.

Options a and b will both have screws showing. Options C will leave holes in the side of my car if I ever decide to remove these.

These don't sound like viable options to me, so I'm asking anybody that might have installed these, how did you go about installing them? Ideally, I don't want any screws/rivets showing. I don't mind drilling in the wheel wells or under the car, just not right on the side of the car.

Any ideas???

The screws/rivets will be underneath the car anyways so you won't be able to see them. Wouldn't you rather have a peace of mind knowing that they're 100% secured to the car as opposed to say using double sided tape?

The only way i think is to use screws at the wheel wells and under the car and 3M double sided tape for the top part.

This is correct and it is also the way you install OEM side skirts. 3M double sided tape is VERY strong, you also have the option of molding them in but that would require you to paint the entire side of the car.
