Just wondering, have any of you done any long distace road trips in an rx7, if so did you have any problems occur when the engine is running for a long period of time? Any discomfort in the interior? Im not sure if i want to take the rx or the durango. Thus the purpose of the question.
B/c of the military, I've taken numerous (forced) road trips.

Let's see here,

(1) NJ to OK
(2) OK to NJ
(3) NJ to TX
(4) TX to GA to NJ (in 2 days, almost 2000 miles!)
(5) NJ to GA
(6) GA to NJ
(7) NJ to GA
(8) GA to TX

all this w/no cruise control

The FD kicks *** on long road trips. Seats are comfy, and the car just eats up the miles. Those occasional races where you go 80-150 help break up the monotony, too .

I'd take the rex. Putting all those miles on the car kinda sucks, but Dave (of KD Rotary) always told me--"Drive the car. That's what it's for."
