Road Racing Basics

Hey guys,
I'm planning on doing some road racing later on this year and was wondering what are some basic mods I should do. I have a 94 PEP with all the engine bolt ons but stock brakes and suspension. I don't want anything crazy, just the best compromise between money and competiveness on a beginner's level.

Thanks

I would say; Radiator, AST, Second Oil Cooler, Vented Hood, Really Really Good Tires.

I think Shocks/Coilovers can wait untill you have some track time behind you and really know what you want to do with the car.

Also from a maintenance standpoint make sure you don't have a broken motor mount or bad bushings. Those are common FD issues. Of course keep boost at around stock levels.
