Arrow Rims.... Black or White?

I was looking into powder coating my rims before I spend a grand or two on rims later down the road. I plan to keep the stockers for track use in the future.

What color do you guys prefer?

On a white car, I would stick with chrome or silver. Personally, I don't think either color looks good on that car...

The white on white gives it a more classical look, while the gunmetal would give it a more racey look.

If it were MY white FD, and I wasnt planning to put the chin spoiler on or the rear spoiler, then I would get the wheels white. If I WERE planning to get the black chin spoiler and the rear spoiler, then I'd complete the racey look with the gunmetal wheels.

I know this isn't answering your question, but there's nothing wrong with stock color. Looks good on the white fd. I wasn't that impressed with either of the two pics but it would work if you're really trying to change the look. If I had to pick between the two I would say white, but my vote is to save the money you would spent on the powdercoating for a nice set of silver rims later on.

Is it just me or does the white on white make the wheels look smaller?? They dont seem to fill the wells as well.

Who cares what we think! It's your car and it is who you are. Personally, if you're using them for racing, do something funky. Gun metal inners with a white trim.

I like the white but I am partial. I did mine in white and in person they look stunning. Also Gray or black jusy looks like a bad case of the brake dust hit them.

I say gun metal.

IMO, at least in that picture, the white wheels look small and "cheap", but I'm sure the picture does not do them justice.

I say a nice Bright Silver Metalic with clear coat would look really good on a stock rim. My Bro. just got a 2002 330i with 18" BMW rims and they look so Clean silver metalic !!

I like a bronzish color on a white car personally. Although silver is always a good choice, especailly when its a blingin silver
