revving in neutral -> smoke
well im trying to figure out whats going on with my car (again)... its always something. sometimes i just wish the motor would finally blow so i can throw a fresh one in there with some new turbos and just be able to drive the car again. i could also use a new 5th gear synchro and suspension bushings... but first things first.
anyway... if i rev up to 6K (or more) in neutral the car starts smoking. i also get some mis-firing or stumbles. i dont seem to get the stumbles when there is some load on the engine (ie when im driving)... but i cant tell if its smoking or not because im moving. any suggestions for what to check, or what could be internally wrong with the motor? FYI, im on my second set of USED turbos, and my motor is the original one with 84K on it. thanks guys, heath

Same stumble and smoke accured on my car, also if I was drivning on highway and slowly accel. to around 4k rpm and held it there my car seemed to missfire or hessitate alot, but if I pressed the gas harder I wouldn't feel anything, so as I was working on my car I found out that my T1 coil cracked open and didn't wor at all...
After removing the plugs, look at the diference.
Just a though, you might want to check the coils.
