lol...Word.

Btw, brave man for letting anyone drive your FD. My wife won't go near my keys by choice. She wants no possible responsibility for even a scratch on it.

LOL my ex was the same way. When she left me she said that was one of the reasons, because she felt I loved the car more than her lol. She was a VERY close second at least.

My gf won't leave me alone about driving my fd and it's not even running yet. haha. btw, read up on preventative upgrades for the fd such as a downpipe and the fpd delete.

Current pictures of this car?????

FearNoPiston 06-04-12 11:15 PM

Well I figure I will update this thread for you guys, I ended up buying this from Gotboost88. Here are some pics of how it looked when I got it and what I have done since. I can update it more as time goes on if you guys want too, I think its pretty cool story/history this car has. The reason it sat for so long was the owner passed away and it was willed to his grand parents where it sat.

what it looked liked the day after I brought it home.

pulled the sideskirts and tried to get the glue off but it took the paint with it despite everything I tried.

pulled the motor and interior basically stripped the car down

Awesome! keep updating whenever possible. Glad this car is getting some love!!!

Sorry to hear about the owner that passed away.

speedjunkie 06-04-12 11:53 PM

Damn that was clean already, but it looks really good now. He must have cleaned it up really well already. Sad to hear about the 'original' owner though. No wonder it sat so long.

FearNoPiston 06-05-12 12:37 PM

Cool I will keep updating the progress then for you guys then.

Paint wasnt as good as it looks in the pics, lots of sun spots and lots of dings. I probably would have not painted it until I started trying to take the sideskirts glue off, which was taking the paint with it.

More pics, I applied lizard skin to the whole interior and trans tunnel.

speedjunkie 06-05-12 09:45 PM

Well I was talking more about the interior. I can't believe it was that nice, unless he had replaced parts of it. I would imagine the paint wouldn't be the greatest lol.

Is that Lizard Skin for sound deadening?

gracer7-rx7 06-06-12 11:19 AM

Nice!

It truly warms my soul to see this car revived from a slow cornfield-death, and I believe you are carrying on a small bit of the deceised owner on in this car!

I think it would warm the hearts of the deceised owners grandparents if you dropped by them and paid them a respect visit when the car is done :)

skunks 06-07-12 11:42 PM

wow you actually found a 95 in a feild? great deal!
