returning back the the 7, need emergency tire help

whats up everyone, I am new to the forum, I am selling my 300z twin, and just bought my 93 fd. I just finsihed up a 3 week commercial shoot, and mini movie for the sema show for a tire company (cant tell you now), and yes the z was the star, (the fd next year) anyways, I am in a bind, they are giving me any size tire I want, in the new high performance tire that is being released after sema. I am debating between 17-18 in wheels, I know there is a lot to consider as far as suspension and rims, but I have not even picked out the wheels yet. so basically I am pretty sure I am going to do an 18, what size tires would you guys recommend. the car is going to be another fast and perfomance oriented show car. for those of you going to sema here is a preview picture.(if I did it right)

I would recommend going with 225/235, 45/40 18" up front (you might need to roll in your fenders if your car is lowered) and 265/275, 35/30 18" on the back. Basically I am running 225 45 on the fronts and 265 35 on the rears.

IMO, that's bad advice. First of all, 225/45s are quite a bit too tall. You should be running 225/40s. Secondly, with that big of a stagger, your car must understeer quite a bit (unless you have tuned your suspension for more oversteer).
