looking at a 93 rx-7 need info

hello everyone...well i was looking at buying this beautiful 93 touring edition rx-7 and i don't have much experience with rotary engines...my buddy had an 89 rx-7 and it gave him hell.....the one i am looking at has 118,000 miles on the car...and 40,000 miles on new motor...lots of upgrades....asking $15,500 for it.....im just wondering if it is worth the money and time....am i going to have trouble with a rotary engine in a car this old....any info would be much appreciated

well, i bought mine with 37000 original mies and its given me alot of good times. i moded it with the essentials intake downpipe midpipe and soon to have a/f controller. its been very little trouble so seeing that yours only has 40,000 on engine it should be fine depending on the "extras" it has equiped. just make sure to hook up a boost gauge and that it reads the proper amount of boost. and make sure if it has the intake and downpipe and stuff that it does have a good a/f controller. it should be fine. BTW i gouht mine for 15,900
