Resonated MP vs. Straight MP

I already have a Rx7 Store Resonated mp. I love it and could not ask for a better sound or performance. However, I was wondering, would their be any difference in power if I put on a straight mp? I know it would be louder. The resonated mp is resonated because it has a magnaflow muffler on it. This is causing some restriction I'm sure, which leads me to believe I'm losing a bit of power.

With a 35R there is little to gain going to a straight thru midpipe. It will however be loud and annoying as hell.

Doubtful you will gain any power at all. The presence of a muffler alone isn't enough to come to the conclusion that the mufflered mid pipe will have less power. I had them both back to back and did not notice a difference.

Unless anyone has actually dyno'ed them back to back on the same car, its just a theoretical discussion.

look inside the resonated midpipe. It's very clear that with a full MP there isn't much gains.
