That really didn't help, lol.
How do I remove the Intercooler Duct? I know their is a freon tank and and it seemed like I could not slide the duct over top of the freon tank. I don't want to damage the aluminum lines. Any input? I think I can figure the rest out from there.

How strong are the lines? Do I need the intercooler ducting anyway? (dont laugh, i'm almost an idiot when it comes to the car). I don't want my R12 spraying like a mustang trying to keep up with a civic (oops, i'm not allowed to say that on this forum, nuh?)
The lines will flex some...they are not totally rigid...Yes you want to keep your duct...it has a scoop that goes in the front end and draws are to the IC.. IC w/o ducting as lame...
Is the blitz IC still using the Oem ducting ?...I'm not too familiar with that IC.

Yeh, you do have to bend the lines more than you would want to. I wound up carefully cutting out the duct around the dryer once I got it out so next time I don't have to bend the lines. As long as you make a clean cut, it will line up properly when you put it back together. Other than that it is pretty easy except for the lower intercooler bolts which are hard to get to. Just be careful pulling out and putting in the fan assembly so you don't trash the radiator fins.

I see the AC canister there and I cannot take that out. It appears to me that it would need to be bent back to slide it out of the ducting, I want to make sure I have removed all bolts that I need. any feedback?
Pull the intake(and stock cross-over piece), battery, then intercooler. You'll need the intake and battery out to get to the lower intercooler duct bolts (the ones under the intercooler facing the motor). The intercooler has 4 bolts total holding on the duct, 1 for the support cross-piece (near the hood latch), and 2 to the steering rack frame. Unbolt the AST. Unbolt the air cond dryer. I don't think the intake\intercooler duct is bolted down (except to the intercooler). When you try to remove the duct, you'll see it's impossible without bending the lines to the air cond dryer. Just bend carefully so not to kink it and just enough to pull out the duct. I did this so long ago I don't remember how many bolts hold down the fan shroud assembly, maybe 2-4? I think the bottom of shroud just fits into 2 rubber posts. There are 2 electrical connectors, 1 to each fan. I had to pull off the upper radiator hose since it was in the way so you'll lose some anti-freeze. Can't remember how many bolts hold the fans to the shroud(4?). It's pretty obvious when you have it off. Both motors are the same but one has 4 and the other 5 blades. I believe that was done to reduce harmonic vibration. If you pull the fan blades off use some Locktite on the motor shaft threads. I cut out the intercooler duct with tin snips around the air dryer so next time I have to pull the duct I don't have to disconnect or bend the dryer. Since I use the RB intake piece, I found out that it's a bad idea to silicon it together (can't get it apart to pull the intercooler duct). Now I use weatherstrip foam to seal the RB duct.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write that out. My last Q (hopefully!), can I just cut the duct from where the AC canister is with my scissors so I can then just pull the duct out? I would do this while its attached to the car. I think it will still be functional after I reinstall it, I can use some sort of duct tape to reattach if needed.
will that work?
will that work?
