Ahh I see -- yes mine (the little tab) was intact. I was in the midst of repairing my old antenna, but in the meantime I did purchase an OEM antenna off eBay that is supposed to be function properly. If, when I get it installed and it works as it should, if you'd be interested, I could let go of my newly repaired unit. Or maybe I could possible get a gear 3-d printed to duplicate mine (I've got a friend making me some parts)
