Repair costs

Hey guys. I have a basic question which 3rd gen rx7 owners might have experience with. I almost gave up on buying an RX7 for the next 2-3 years but am considering it one last time as long as I can find a reasonable price and loan. Anyone know the costs of these repairs? And if the engine needs a rebuild, how much would it probably be and how much would I be able to get for the engine if I sold it in order to buy another one?

Engine water leak
Speedo & Tach erratic
Missing/broken drivers door lock cable
AC not charged
Original shocks
Fifth gear syncro

too unspecific on most of these but heres an estimate

wheres the leak?? ---------- $0.25-$2000

tach ------- depends on what the cause is $100-$200

door lock -------- call Ray Crowe 888-533-3400

do you want to keep R-12 or go to R-134A? ------ $100-$400

shocks ----------- new ~$300 used ~$150

rev-match 5th gear ---- $free

Don't consider this car if you need to take out a loan to make the purchase. The price of the car is just the initial buy-in. You need to have money to get the maintenance up to spec.

Any 15 year old car is going to require a fair amount of maintenance.

rev match when shifting into 5th, and theres no need for a 5th gear syncro, hence the problem is fixed for free! takes some practice, but youll get it, my 5th syncros been gone for over a year, only grinded 5th 4-5 times in a year and its driven daily
