Removing Bose CD player plug from head unit?
Hi All,
I am trying to remove the CD player from the dash. My car is a Touring, so it came with the factory single CD player.
I can reach the plug in the back of the head unit (tape/radio), but cannot get it to budge at all.
Is there some sort of lever or release pin I need to engage?
This is so frustrating!!
Thanks!!

Pretty sure you just have to heave it. There are little hook type tool things you can insert on the sides to collapse the spring clips that hold it in the dash. They are hit and miss when it comes to helping. Its scary but just get your hand behind it and pull like you're trying to save a life.
at least I'm pretty sure that's how I got the last one out. I don't remember there being any hardware holding it in

Ah yes.... I see now. So yes, there is a squeeze thing on it. Once you feel for it and get a slight grip on it you're gonna have to pull on the wires for this one. 2 hands if you can or get someone help. The tricky part is making sure you're pulling straight back and not at an angle. It will come out
