Splitting Bose head unit and casette deck
I want to replace my tape deck with a stock flip tray. My car came with both CD and tape. Can they be split and have just the CD player work? If so, how is this done.

There's no amp or controls in just the cd deck. You can have just the radio with a jumper (see bottom of this page) http://www.fd3s.net/stereo_upgrade.html
