Will it change the vac on idle ? Even if its tuned right ?

I don't think it should do anything with the vacuum at idle, but it could cause the car to have a stange idle unless you have a PowerFC or some other reprogramable ECU.

Your idle may be a little lumpy, especially when cold. Nothing I would consider troublesome.

by the way, if you didn't know, the only time you should remove the air pump is if you have no cats. If you are still running the main cat and remove the air pump, you can damage it
