Question Removing air bags

When I rebuilt my car I removed the air bag wiring harness and steering wheel. I was wondering if anyone knows the correct resistors to plug into the old harness, and fool the computer into thinking they are still there. I can't stand that light blinking at me, and I am not taking apart my dash to remove one lightbulb. Thanks

Measure the resistance of your air bag with an ohm meter, and head on over to radioshack.

I think you can pull the fuse plug on that. Well I am not sure as my mechanic did that for me.

I realize that the efini and other wheels are cool but personally I wouldn't take it off. If you ever get in an accident you would wish you had it...

I'd rather get a cut up face then be dead. I watched in vein as a person in an accident hit the wheel and died from injuries. I got out to help but he died right in front of me. Very sobering...

Studies show that they save lives (unless your too short or too close to the wheel then you can get hurt). Still better than taking the steering wheel in the chest and hitting the windshield with your head.

With as dangerous as an FD is, why take it out?

I get an insurance discount for having an airbag. If I got in an accident and got seriously hurt, they could renig on covering anything including medical if the bag is missing.
