removed my airpump

ok i got my greddy pulley set in friday and put it in today..btw thanks jason for quick shipping..anyway i took pout the pump and had everything back together and cranked her up. i noticed a rather unpleasing sound comming from the pipe the airpump was hooked up to. so i went to the store and got a hose and connected the pipe to my apexi intake. should i leave this setup or plug the pipe?

You can safely plug the pipe. If you want to finish up the emissions control elimination, then you can also block off your EGR and ACV and hollow out your catalytic converters or replace them with pipes.

You should be fine. Those pipes only connect to the ACV, which is connected to the exhaust ports and that hard pipe that once went to your main cat. There are check valves that keep the exhaust from flowing into your engine bay.
