Removal of Prmary Turbo Comp Housing?
I need to remove the primary turbo compressor housing for a repair. I have the snap ring tool, but does anyone have any advice on going about this while the turbos are in the car?
Thank You

i've done it with the turbos bolted up and in the car. it's a royal pain in the ***. you'll almost definitely need help.
hopefully the snap ring is positioned so that you can actually get to it.
lucky for me mine was positioned with the opening facing up, so with everything out of the way i could actually get snap pliers in there.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I can't think of any repair that can be done properly to a turbo by just taking off the compressor housing.
Unless you're just trying to gain access to something. If you take the wheel off you will not be able to make reference marks to the turbine and the assembly will become unbalanced.
