Hello ladies and gents. Fresh meat for you here, only had her (1993 Type R) for a few weeks and loving it but sick of the key activated central locking.

I recently bought a full remote starter with all the bells and whistles on it but fell at the first hurdle when I realised I needed an electric motor fitted to the central locking mechanism.

Are these motors, plus mounting assembly available to buy after market or off a breakers because I'm not sure if they are even fitted standard to newer models??

If not there must be someone who's got sick of using the key???
